You Matter! Everyone Matters!

For this is how God loved the world: He gave his one and only Son, so that everyone who believes in him will not perish but have eternal life.” – John 3:16.

People matter to God. All people. The key word in John 3:16 is “everyone.  So that means everybody matters to God whether God matters to them or not.

In our culture today, it is easy to love those we agree with; those who do us no harm, who don’t need anything from us, and those who don’t offend us. God calls us to  love those that may seem unlovable. That's how God operates!

Join us in our passion. We love Las Vegas, we love the diversity of our city, and the many people we have an opportunity to love.  Jesus is teaching us that regardless of the size of the multitude, God still places a high value on each person. He cares about the smallest details of our lives, our potential, our failures, our hurts, our health, our fears and our destiny.

I matter. You matter. Everyone matters!

Priority Issues for the United Methodist Women  2021-2024:

Interrupting the School to Prison Pipeline

United Methodist Women will grow our leadership skills working as school to prison pipeline interrupters to build a better future for children and youth by educating ourselves, starting or joining local efforts, talking to key decisions makers, and supporting young leaders in the community.

Just Energy for All

United Methodist Women will press government and company leaders to pass and implements policies that advance 100% renewable energy and incorporate a just and equitable transition. We will put our faith into action by examining our own energy sources and how they are impacting our communities, learning from and partnering with frontline communities most impacted, and pressing for concrete change at the local and national levels.

Gender Equality and Racial Justice

Gender justice and women's leadership development are part of United Methodist Women's core commitments and will always be a key component in all of our work. We know that all people are beloved in God's eyes, and until they are loved in the eyes of all, our work persists.
